A little over a week ago, we had to put our baby, Whopper down, he was 12 1/2 years old. He was the son of Furia and Koda. I have to tell you that it has taken me this long to post this. Vickie Zimmerly is a true hero in my book. This dog was more than a pet or a dog, for that matter, he was one of the family, like one of my children. I cannot express enough the joy, fun, love, friendship, and closeness my family was lucky to experience because of Vickie. I will never, ever have a dog as wonderful as my Whopper. He truly was my best friend, and the crazy thing is that he was also my husband's, my daughter's, and son's best friend also. He shared his love with each of us and we each meant something special to him in a certain way. Life will go on, but he will live in our hearts and mind forever. I for one, will never forget my best friend. I cannot stress enough how amazing Vickie is and her breeding skills which are top notch. Love your pets and spoil them.We will be retiring and possibly moving in a few years, however Alzimm will always be in the back of my mind for another dog. Not to replace Whopper but to give us the pleasure and joy like we had with Whopper. These dogs are top quality, I can't say enough about Vickie. Thank you Vickie, from the bottom of our hearts for giving my family the best 12 years of our lives, God Bless you, you will always be our hero.
Thank you Mary Beth for the care and love you have shown Heidi through the many years now.
We have been so proud of Mary Beth and Heidi over the years. Heidi was completely off leash trained at only 10 months of age and was a delight to enjoy at our Alzimm family reunion years ago.
We will never forget the day we met Emily and her Mother when she came to pick up Ace as a young puppy. What a delightful time we had!
Thanks Emily for all the pictures you have shared.
We have enjoyed everyone of them !!
